* In USA, Canada, and Mexico: only UHF channels A14-69 are currently used for TV. Use of channels 70-83 for low-power repeaters has discontinued and the spectrum has been reallocated to cellphones. Consequently, current production TV sets for the North American market no longer cover channels 70-83. The TV allocation may be reduced still further to channels A14-59 (470-746MHz) at some future date, to make room for new emergency services channels.
